"Myanmar Inspirational Triumph: New Beginnings for Immigrant School"

I am working with principals and their courageous children, that are without country, and we help provide pathways into mainstream Thai education. Two of my key clients from Australia are giving cash, and I am sending direct to the principal, and send receipts to client showing 100% of their kind donation goes directly to the front line, for every dollar they give I equal it.

Today our kids MinThu Won Students are going to village clinic for important check up, its humbling as for some it is their first.

Last month my company imported ID printer so that we can give every child ID Card that delivers outward security to human trafficking, and gives our kids a small sense of belonging, and sense of value.

So watch this space, I will be building a funding channel that delivers 100% direct to our kids, and that is important.

If you would like to get involved feel free to contact me on how, we would love to have you visit us here and meet our kids. Be very careful though, your heart will be warmed.

The situation. GED Education Pathway:

Our kids start their entry pathway into Thailand education, yesterday marks the official opening of the GED General Education Development. The GED program is a flexible and affordable alternative pathway for individuals in Thailand who did not complete high school to earn a high school equivalency credential. The program is recognized by many colleges, universities, and employers and provides individuals with the opportunity to improve their education and employment prospects.

Crisis

The ongoing political crisis in Myanmar has forced many families to flee their homeland in search of safety and security. One of the most affected groups has been children who have had to leave behind their homes, schools, and everything they knew to start a new life on the border of Thailand. While Thailand has been a refuge for many Myanmar immigrants, their children face various challenges, especially when it comes to education.

One of the significant issues facing Myanmar immigrant children in Thailand is the language barrier. Most of these children speak Burmese as their native language, making it difficult for them to communicate in Thai, the language used in Thailand's schools. This barrier can lead to isolation and affect their academic performance, making it hard for them to adjust to the new environment.

Education Access Denied

Additionally, access to education is another significant challenge that these children face. Although the Thai government provides education to all children in the country, the reality is that many immigrant children do not have access to it. Some families cannot afford the costs associated with education, such as uniforms, textbooks, and transportation. Others do not have proper documentation, such as birth certificates or identification cards, making it challenging to enroll in schools.

Even for those who manage to enroll in school, the quality of education is often subpar. The schools that cater to immigrant children are overcrowded and under-resourced, with inadequate facilities and poorly trained teachers. As a result, these children often do not receive the education they need to succeed, leaving them at a disadvantage in the long run.

Moreover, the unstable political situation in Myanmar means that many of these children have experienced trauma and upheaval, making it challenging for them to focus on their studies. Many of them have witnessed violence and even lost family members, leading to psychological distress that affects their academic performance.

Determination

Despite these challenges, many Myanmar immigrant children in Thailand are determined to get an education and improve their lives. Some NGOs and community organizations have stepped up to support them by providing scholarships, language classes, and other resources to help them succeed. These efforts have helped many children continue their education and even go on to pursue higher education.

In conclusion, the struggles of Myanmar immigrant children trying to get an education on the border of Thailand are a testament to the resilience and determination of these young individuals. Despite facing numerous obstacles, they remain committed to their education and improving their lives. It is crucial for the Thai government, NGOs, and the international community to continue supporting these children to ensure that they have the opportunities they need to succeed.
