Transforming Manufacturing Robotics in The Middle East


Dracon NZ Ltd was invited by Suhail Industries in Qatar, owners of 15 factories, to solve production bottlenecks with robotics. Our first mission? Revolutionizing their steel plank welding bay.

A human welder takes 3m 30s per weld—our robots finish in just 2m 15s, running 22 hours daily with unmatched precision. After meetings in Qatar, 11 sample planks were shipped to our Shanghai robotics lab. There, we developed two robot arms, automated rotating tables, and a complete production system.

Suhail’s engineers will train with us in Shanghai to lead their own robotics team, marking a bold step toward full automation. 🚧

Next up? Automating mold casting, battery recycling, and a new steel plank rollforming line.
